Nature with Jen
Guided forest bathing sessions, staff retreats, and nature-centered practices that support calm, clarity, and connection.
Come back to wonder.
Nature has a way of bringing us back to something essential — curiosity, play, presence, connection, and a sense of wonder. For many of us, that relationship can get quieter over time. Life gets busy. We spend more time indoors, on screens, moving from one responsibility to the next. But connecting with nature doesn’t have to mean climbing mountains, backpacking, or becoming an “outdoors person.” Nature is available to all of us, and there are many ways to experience it.
Through Nature with Jen, I create experiences that help individuals, groups, and teams slow down, notice more, and rediscover their own relationship with the natural world.
My work draws from forest bathing, sensory awareness, reflection, play, and nature-based practices that support well-being, connection, restoration, and joy.
You don’t need any special skills or outdoor experience. You just need a little curiosity and a willingness to notice what’s already around you.
About Me
I’m Jen — a facilitator, educator, and certified Forest Bathing Guide with more than 16 years of experience creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting people and teams, and helping ideas move from possibility into practice.
Much of my career has been spent in work that is deeply purposeful, relationship-centered, and demanding. Along the way, I became increasingly interested in the role nature can play in helping us reconnect with ourselves, with one another, and with a sense of curiosity and wonder that can easily get buried beneath busy schedules and constant responsibilities.
That curiosity eventually led me to forest bathing and to a broader exploration of nature-based well-being.
Through Nature with Jen, I create experiences, workshops, and learning opportunities that invite people to slow down, notice more, play, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world. My approach draws on sensory awareness, curiosity, connection, reflection, and simple moments of awe and wonder. It isn’t about adding another task to a wellness checklist. It’s about creating space to feel more present, grounded, restored, and alive.
I hold a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute and am a certified Forest Bathing Guide through the Forest Therapy Hub. My professional experience spans education, program and organizational leadership, facilitation, professional learning, and nature-based wellness, and I have presented and facilitated for professional audiences across education, health, mental health, and community well-being.
Whether I’m guiding a walk, facilitating a workshop, teaching a course, or speaking to a room of professionals, my hope is to create experiences that help people reconnect with curiosity, possibility, and the world around them.
